Stair Treads

Our stair treads are available in several species with a variety of options to meet your needs. Treads are available for both replacement and retrofit applications.

Traditional 1 inch treads are the ideal product for replacing an existing stairway. They're different than our retrofit treads as they're designed to replace existing stairs rather than cover them up. These treads are 1 in. thick by 11.5 in. wide and available in a variety of lengths, ready to be stained to match whatever you need.

Retrofit treads are designed to replace your existing stairs by fitting over the top of existing treads, so they have a different shape (or profile, as we would say!) and thickness compared to a traditional 1" tread. This is because they're made specifically to replace a carpeted stair by being placed over the existing treads. Installation is easier than a traditional one inch tread, which makes these perfect for a do it yourself project!
