Please keep in mind that wood is a natural product! No two pieces are the same - therefore images are representative and not exact. All natural unfinished products will require additional preparation, including sanding and filling any natural imperfections before finishing. We always recommend that you work with an expert for finishing to achieve the best results. We recommend sealing the tread entirely in the finishing process. If doing the work yourself, you should consult with a pro at minimum to ensure you have the proper techniques.
Because we ship across the country, we often spray our treads with a stabilizer to reduce the effect of changes in moisture between climates. This coating has no effect on staining or finishing.
Please note there is no color match standard for these treads.
