Size

Loctite PL Premium is our recommended adhesive for all our stair retreads. PL Premium is urethane based and does not contain water, so it is suitable for gluing wood.

  • The 10oz. cartridges will fit in a standard caulk gun
  • Plan on 1/2 tube to cover 36in and 42in treads, and 3/4-1 full tube for longer treads.
  • On retreads, you want to cover the bottom of the tread.

PLEASE NOTE: installing our treads with non-urethane based adhesives will void all warranty and will damage your treads. PL Premium is the only adhesive we currently recommend.
